Subsurface irrigation that can reduce water consumption by up to 90% is becoming essential to modern water management.

The DANA™ irrigation system uses pressure-compensating, double-walled PUR tubes with a specially designed structure. The micro-openings are manufactured and configured according to the specific requirements of each application.

An integrated membrane with an internal fleece filter provides a self-cleaning mechanism, prevents root intrusion and ensures consistent water delivery even at low operating pressures between 0.4 and 2 bar.

The system is designed to prevent small particles and impurities in the water from clogging the micro-openings. This makes it possible to use treated greywater for irrigation, depending on the quality and suitability of the water.

Plants receive precisely the amount of water they require. Where needed, nutrients and fertilizers can be delivered directly through the irrigation system and adapted to the plants' requirements during different stages of growth.

Where soil analysis is available, oxygen can also be introduced systematically into the soil to support soil quality and plant development.

Integrated measuring devices monitor soil moisture and allow the water supply to be adjusted automatically through computer-controlled systems. This enables water consumption to be reduced while supporting crop yields.

Fertilizers can be added to the irrigation water according to the plants' growth requirements. This reduces additional application costs and can contribute to more environmentally responsible cultivation.

Another important benefit is the potential reduction of soil compaction, helping to maintain favorable conditions for plant growth.

DANA™ PUR tubes are manufactured in Germany.
